Abstract
There have been vigorous searches for a medication more effective in the treatment of patients with rheumatoid arthritis and degenerative arthritis. So many non-steroidal, anti-inflammatory drugs have been developed, and Mebron (1-(4-Methoxy-6-methyl-2pyrimidinyl)-3-methyl-5-methoxypyrazole) is one of these non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agents, which has significant anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic properties.
We evaluated the efficacy of combined use of Mebron and Aspirin on patients with rheumatoid arthritis and degenerative arthritis, who had visited the orthopedic clinic of Seoul National University Hospital for the period of 4 weeks, August through September 1980.
